My ClinicOS Story
Our old practice management software served us well for many years — but eventually, it could no longer communicate with the outside world. Stone-age technology met the technology of the future, and the interfaces were missing. It was holding us back.
On top of that: We had separate software for the calendar, another for paging patients from the waiting room, and others for different programs. All these systems had to be connected via interfaces — which in the end was no longer feasible. ClinicOS offers all these features in a single program. We now only need one provider, resulting in lower costs for servers and maintenance.
What particularly convinces me is the optimization of the process chains. Previously, for every doctor-patient contact, you had to enter an entire sequence of codes. Today, it's just a click of a button — the complete consultation appointment, including the diagnosis, is in the system.
Through this standardization, the workflow is much less prone to errors. We have to do far less monitoring on weekends to check what the staff did correctly or incorrectly. That is the real advantage: process optimization and fewer errors.
The support is fantastic. We have a WhatsApp group where all staff members can post questions and receive an immediate response.
„Anyone considering getting ClinicOS: Do it. It was worth it.“
The future of practice management software begins here
Christoph Baum views ClinicOS from the perspective of a practice manager: fewer individual systems, lower server costs, and fewer errors thanks to automated process chains. In particular, billing — previously an error-prone manual task — now runs significantly more reliably.
His conclusion: ClinicOS has delivered what it promised. All our requirements could be implemented.
„Stone-age technology meets the technology of the future — we were missing the interfaces. ClinicOS solved that.“
