My ClinicOS Story
Our old practice software system served us well for many years — but at some point it could no longer communicate with the outside world. Stone Age technology met future technology, and the interfaces were missing. It held us back.
Then there was this: We had separate software for the calendar, for calling patients from the waiting room, and for other programs. All these systems had to be connected via interfaces — which in the end was no longer possible. ClinicOS offers all these functions in one program. We now only need one provider and have lower costs for servers and maintenance.
What particularly convinced me: the optimization of process chains. In the past, for every doctor-patient contact you had to enter an entire chain of numbers. Today it is the press of a button — the complete consultation appointment with diagnosis is in the system.
Through this standardization, the process is less prone to errors. We have to check less on weekends what the staff did correctly or incorrectly. That is the real advantage: process optimization and fewer errors.
The support is fantastic. We have a WhatsApp group where all employees can post questions and get an immediate answer.
“Anyone thinking about getting ClinicOS: Do it. It was worth it.”
The future of practice software starts here
Christoph Baum views ClinicOS from the perspective of the practice manager: fewer individual systems, lower server costs, fewer errors due to automated process chains. In particular, billing — formerly a manual task prone to errors — now runs much more reliably.
His conclusion: ClinicOS delivered on what it promised. All requests could be implemented.
“Stone Age technology meets future technology — we were missing the interfaces there. ClinicOS solved that.”
