My ClinicOS Story

Before ClinicOS, we used numerous programs in parallel — each a separate siloed solution. The result: constant back-and-forth copying, copy-paste processes, and an enormous amount of lost time. The systems were old, AI was not possible, and the administrative burden was so great that we could hardly practice medicine. I had to neglect my family because of the many overtime hours.

The worst part was the phone. If we couldn’t answer, patients were dissatisfied — and in a private practice, you lose them then. And dictation: I wanted to focus on the patient, be able to listen, not type distractedly at the screen.

Since ClinicOS, the staffing ratio in our practice has completely reversed: We are three internists with only one medical assistant — normally you need at least one medical assistant per internist plus a secretary. Our medical assistant does what she was trained for: medical tasks. The phone calls are handled by AI, doctor’s letters are created automatically, the reception desk assistant is AI-generated, and documents are scanned instead of typed up.

I do fewer overtime hours. I have more time for my private life, for my family. And in the practice, in the same time in which I used to treat ten patients, I can now treat 40 to 50 — because the AI listens in during the consultation, assigns everything, creates prescriptions, generates letters, and prepares billing. When the patient leaves the room, I don’t have to do any follow-up work.

“We are three internists with only one medical assistant. The staffing ratio has completely reversed.”

The future of practice software begins here

Dr. Taleh sees ClinicOS as the first truly AI-native solution for physicians’ daily work in Germany. His favorite features: the GOÄ billing assistance, which detects duplicate codes, marks exclusions, and suggests services he wasn’t aware of — and the doctor’s letter function, which summarizes multi-page expert opinions and findings.

His appeal: We need to free ourselves from being afraid of AI. AI does not take over the role of the physician — it is a tool to treat patients better. ClinicOS is relevant for both small and large practices alike.

“ClinicOS has fundamentally changed the way we work. It saves us valuable time every day and allows us to focus more on what matters most — our patients.”
