My ClinicOS Story
Until 2023, the practice was running smoothly — then everything tipped. Within two weeks, the entire year was fully booked, and yet around 500 calls per month kept coming in that the team could only turn away. A seven-to-eight-hour workday turned into ten to twelve hours — with a child waiting at home.
In 2024, Sonja Albert began systematically searching for the bottlenecks. The biggest problem, which could not be solved by staff alone: communication. This is exactly where the initial consultation at ClinicOS came in.
“While with other companies I felt they didn't address my specific problem, here I felt: This is being taken seriously in a very specific way.”
Highly digitized — and yet human
Today, patients book cancelled appointments themselves via the online portal, enter their data in advance themselves, and can choose to attend via video consultation. Reminder emails have mitigated the high no-show rate — previously, the medical assistant had to call every single patient. The workflow saves a noticeable amount of time, more and more step by step.
After 30 years with practice IT systems — including a long stint as an application specialist — Sonja Albert has clear expectations of software and support. What convinces her about ClinicOS: Every question is taken seriously, answered, and followed up until it is resolved.
“If I have a question, I know: It will be taken seriously, it will be answered — and they will follow up to ensure the problem is truly solved.”
Conclusion
After 30 years of practice IT, Sonja Albert knows what software has to deliver. Today, her time belongs to patient consultations again — and to her free evenings.
“There is a human being sitting on the other side — you get greeted in the morning and said goodbye to in the afternoon. To me, that is a team.”
