My ClinicOS Story
What began as a one-man practice is today an interdisciplinary team of doctors, sports scientists, and osteopaths. This scale comes with a price if the software does not grow alongside it: a data muddle between different tools, a lack of interfaces to ultrasound machines, manually managed patient questionnaires, and an external online calendar. And above all: a great deal of work that still had to be done after the patient consultation.
“With the growing team and increasing demands, we simply reached our limits with the old system.”
— Dr. med. Raúl Borgmann, Founder
Three Observations from the Team
When speaking with the team, three things stand out. First, the AI consultation assistant automatically documents the patient consultation, distinguishing between history, clinical findings, and medical diagnosis.
Small talk — such as when the doctor briefly chats with the patient about their vacation — is filtered out.
Second, the process chains trigger documentation, billing, diagnosis, and follow-up appointments in a single step, which is fully configurable to the needs of the practice.
Third, patients complete their questionnaires digitally — at home, on their mobile phones on the go, or on-site on an iPad. This virtually eliminates history-taking time in the waiting room.
“We have experienced an immense relief through the speech recognition and consultation documentation — documentation, findings, and billing are consolidated into a single workflow.”
— Dr. med. Raúl Borgmann
What is Repeatedly Mentioned in the Team
One point runs through all conversations: the support. "I have rarely experienced such fast support from other companies so far," says Dr. Borgmann. Marie Reisener confirms: "That is truly unique — even after hours, I noticed that the feature request had already been processed by the next morning." And Carlo Lade adds: "What surprised me most was how much of the feature requests the ClinicOS team actually implements on a weekly basis."
For a practice that configures its software as individually as Orthopassion does, this is the essential condition for ensuring that the system continues to grow with the practice — instead of falling behind it.
