Functions Used
  • Device integration – Seamless connection of medical devices

  • Appointment management – Efficient scheduling and management of appointments

  • Digital patient record – Centralized and structured documentation of all patient data

  • Team coordination – Improved collaboration within the team

My ClinicOS Story

The old software was already cloud-based — but from a very small vendor. What worked in the early years as a one-person operation reached its limits with every new clinician and every new procedure. Interfaces were missing — as were integration with the ultrasound devices and proper speech recognition. There were database inconsistencies. The online calendar ran externally, via an additional system.

What was not lacking was a willingness to digitize. What was lacking was software that actually reflects what the practice can do.

“With the growing team and the growing demands, we simply could no longer manage with the old system.”

AI consultation assistant and support

Dr. Borgmann's favorite feature is the AI consultation assistant. It listens in on the patient conversation, documents it, and automatically differentiates between medical history, findings, and diagnosis. What doesn't belong in the chart — if he chats briefly with patients about their vacation — the AI automatically filters out.

Equally important to him is support. He says he has not experienced fast support like this from many software companies — just as with the speed at which feature requests are implemented. For an innovative private practice, the switch to ClinicOS was the right step from his perspective.

“I was very positively surprised by the recognition accuracy of the AI voice assistant — it truly differentiates between medical history, findings, and diagnosis.”

Conclusion

His advice to practices that are unsure: “Definitely book a demo and play around with the system a bit. For me as a private practice and innovative practice, it was the right step.”

The future of practice software starts here

What began as a one-person practice is now an interdisciplinary team of doctors, sports scientists, and osteopaths. This size has its price if the software does not grow with it: data chaos between different tools, missing interfaces to the ultrasound devices, manually maintained patient questionnaires, an external online calendar. And above all: a lot of work that still had to be done after the patient consultation. Show more
