My ClinicOS Story

Before ClinicOS, daily practice operations were run across a multitude of systems. Patient questionnaires, such as the VAS scale, were recorded manually, and patient documents had to be copied, scanned, and filed away.

And then there was the actual problem: documentation demanded so much attention that quality time with patients suffered. Especially when starting out new at the practice, there was the feeling that patient-facing capacity was compromised because so much was happening simultaneously on the PC.

“There were very, very many tools — sometimes it was a bit of a jungle to know what you needed for what.”

A few clicks, a completed appointment

Today, processes that used to involve multiple stages are integrated into one — documentation, billing, scheduling. Patients fill out the questionnaire digitally beforehand, and doctors see it pop up directly in the system. Patient documents remain digital — copying, scanning, and filing are no longer necessary.

What surprised Valentin was just how good the speech recognition already is. His favorite feature is the process chain — processes that used to be separate are now consolidated. A few clicks, and a mountain of work is done that previously required significantly more effort.

“It takes just a few clicks, and the appointment is all wrapped up.”

Conclusion

Even if it seems like a big step and a major change at first: it is worth it. As of right now, it is definitely a relief — and knowing that forthcoming features will bring even more to make daily work life easier.

The future of practice software begins here

What began as a one-man practice is today an interdisciplinary team of doctors, sports scientists, and osteopaths. This scale comes with a price if the software does not grow alongside it: data clutter between different tools, missing interfaces to ultrasound devices, manually formatted patient questionnaires, and an external online calendar. And above all: a lot of work that still had to be done after the patient consultation. Show more
