My ClinicOS Story

Before ClinicOS, day-to-day practice operations ran across a multitude of systems. Patient questionnaires such as the VAS scale were recorded manually, and patient documents had to be copied, scanned, and filed.

And then there was the real problem: documentation required so much attention that time with patients suffered. Especially when he had just started at the practice, he felt that his capacity for patient care was being compromised because so much was happening on the computer in parallel.

"There were very, very many tools — sometimes it was a bit of a jungle trying to figure out what you needed each one for."

A few clicks, a completed appointment

Today, processes that used to be multi-step now come together in one — documentation, billing, appointment. Patients fill out the questionnaire digitally in advance, and the doctors see it pop up directly in the system. Patient documents remain digital — copying, scanning, and filing are gone.

What surprised Valentin: how good the speech recognition already is. His favorite feature is the process chain — processes that used to be several are bundled into one. A few clicks, and a lot of work is done that used to take much more effort.

"It’s just a few clicks, and the appointment is taken care of."

Conclusion

Even if at first it looks like a big step and a major change, it is worth it. As things stand, it is definitely a relief — and you know that with the upcoming features even more is coming that will make day-to-day work easier.

The future of practice software starts here

What began as a one-person practice is now an interdisciplinary team of physicians, sports scientists, and osteopaths. This size comes at a price if the software does not grow with it: data chaos between different tools, missing interfaces to the ultrasound devices, manually maintained patient questionnaires, an external online calendar. And above all: a lot of work that still had to be done after the patient consultation. Show more
